Mayfield Singers, Traditional Norwegian Choir Singing and Traditional Christmas Songs
A twinning arrangement exists between Orkney and Hordaland, the Norwegian county in which Norway's second city, Bergen, is situated.

Since this began, Hordaland has gifted Orkney with a Christmas tree each year, positioned in front of St Magnus Cathedral in Kirkwall.		 The 'lighting' of this tree has become a well known event with the Mayfield Singers performing inside the cathedral the same evening.

A fair percentage of the programme is of Norwegian descent with some more recognizable Christmas songs intertwined.
