Gwenda’s ‘Looking Back’ album proved so successful, we just had to do something similar in 2007 but this time she is joined by 12 guests, singing timeless classics that everyone loves to hear.
From up-tempo country songs such as ‘Your Good Girl’s Gonna Go Bad’ to rock ballads like Bob Seger’s ‘We’ve Got Tonight’, this CD will appeal to a wide variety of listeners of all ages.
| Some tracks are recognized duets – ‘Jackson’ and ‘Don’t Go Breaking My Heart’, for example, whereas others have been uniquely arranged for this album.
The backing has not been compromised either featuring not only Orkney’s best but some of Nashville’s top session players, namely Aubrey Haynie on fiddle (who plays on many of the big US country hits) and Robbie Turner (Dixie Chicks) sharing task of pedal steel guitar with Glasgow’s Willie Gamble. |
